Porsche 911 Carrera Will Receive Turbochanged Engines

The upcoming 2017 Porsche 911 Carrera series will have a turbocharged engine line-up only for its models Carrera and Carrera S autos. This is the first time ever for Porsche to have such a line-up. Both Carrera S and Carrera 2017 will receive a brand new twin-turbo flat-six engine (3 L). In addition to regular sports cars will get a usual for Porsche “face-lift” and improved chassis features.
The standard Carrera will have the tuned-up engine to 379 hp along with 331 lb-ft of torque. It means that the model has been improved up to 20 hp and 43 lb-ft respectively from the current Porsche Carrera model.
Carrera S will boast a new twin-turbo unit with 420 hp and 368 lb-ft, that is also 20 hp up and 43 lb-ft from the current Carrera S series. The upcoming Carrera S autos will have a rear-axle steering feature that was previously included only in 911 GT3 and 911 Turbo.
The new Carrera S series will have a price tag of $104,395. Be ready to spend about $102,695 for the new Carrera Cabriolet. The highest price will be for Carrera S Cabriolet will be $116,695.
