After two years since the launch of the previous generation we witness the reveal of the refreshed Chevrolet Silverado 1500 pickup series that is expected to be released in 2016.

The front end of the renewed series of Chevrolet pickups got the constellation of LED lights. The upcoming High Country and LTZ models in the series will also receive the exterior lighting along with fog lamps, turn signals and taillamps. The basic WT model's trim will get the bunch of standard HID headlamp bulbs. Other exterior improvements include hoods and double side-to-side grilles on the horizontal theme.

The so-called "sibling" of the Silverado - the GMC Sierra - will also join the Apple CarPlay bandwagon and the Android Auto on 7.0-inch teouch-screen infotainment. Among other techy features there are also wireless phone chargers, lane-keeping assist, forward-collision alert and automatic high beams.

The price tag for 2016 Chevrolet Silverados will start at $27,850 and raises to $53,835 for the High Country Crew Cab 4x4 model.
